How did they get so grown up?
I was just hit (something like an 18wheeler barrelling down) with the shock of noticing how old my ladies are getting. Wow! and Yikes! Viv, where did the time go? Suddenly we have attitude and boys and hormones and and and and........... I'm scared
Gorgeous Autumn
Fall has been stunning here so far and mild until just recently. It's gone by in such a blurrrrr for me b/c I've had my head buried too deep in the books. We had some good times though and had a week of getting to know some distant family who live on Okinawa. Yeah!

Oktoberfest
The base had an Oktoberfest of sorts. It was all free, fun things for the kids and free food, t-shirts, hats, games..... It was awesome that it was held right in the lawn area behind our tower so no commuting either!
Tokyo National Science Museum
Viv's class had a field trip to the National Science Museum... I got to go along. Too bad I suck as a group leader - I couldn't find a couple of the most exciting exhibits! Oh well, at least I made friends with a Japanese guide there who gave us a personal showing of an antique robot that can serve tea!

Playing......again
in case you can't tell....we love to play! This is at Sebuen Yuenchi (amusement park)....it's fun for the kids especially - tons of hello kitty!
Soccer Updates
more soccer playing..... Viv and Cynthia both have just one more game each next saturday! Viv has made a cheer about it and cynthia cries out in sadness that it's almost over.

Viv's 9th Birthday!
Wow, somehow Viv is 9 now. She had a good birthday with lots of presents and celebrated with a slumber party.
